"Finding Peace in the Storm: Resting in God’s Promises."

Main Points:
Focus on Jesus, Not the Storm:
Like Peter walking on water in Matthew 14:30–31 (NKJV), we sink when we focus on the wind and waves. But when we fix our eyes on Jesus, His presence strengthens us.
“But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, ‘Lord, save me!’ And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him.”
God’s Promises Are a Firm Foundation:
The Word of God is unshakable. Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV) promises, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Meditate on His Word to strengthen your heart in challenging times.
Pray Through Your Fears:
Philippians 4:6–7 (NKJV) offers this assurance: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Bring your concerns to God and trust Him to handle them.
Conclusion: Peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of God in the midst of it. Rest in His promises, and let His peace guard your heart.
Encouraging Thought: "The storms of life are temporary, but the peace of God is eternal."
