What We Teach and Believe


God leads Great Faith Christian Center International (GFCCI) in Alexandria, Virginia in sharing His word. Read the information on this page to the scope of our teachings.


Statement of Faith

  • God is triune. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (I John 5:4-6 ;) Acts10:38)

  • Jesus Christ is true God and true man. (John 1:1-3; Hebrews 4:14)

  • The Holy Spirit is a divine person. (Matthew 3:16; Romans 8:9)

  • The Old and New Testaments are God’s divinely inspired Words. (II Timothy 3:16)

  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation. (Romans 3:21-30; Galatians 4:4-7)

  • Salvation has been provided for all men through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. (Matthew 26:28; Acts 2:38)

  • It is the will of God that every believer be filled with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:3-4)

  • Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Christ and is available to every believer. (Isaiah 53:4-5; I Peter 2:24)

  • The Church consists of all those who have received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. (Romans 12:5; Ephesians 4:4)

  • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust. (John 5:24, 28-29)

  • There shall be a personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

  • Water baptism is an outward sign of the inward act of receiving Jesus as Savior. (Matthew 28:19)

  • Observance of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Jesus. (I (Corinthians 11:24-30)
